This three-day immersive training is an invitation for those who feel called to walk beside families during one of the most powerful experiences of their lives. Whether you are beginning your journey as a doula or refining your craft, this training offers depth, embodiment, and wisdom that cannot be learned from books alone.

You will be guided through birth support across all settings and circumstances—home, hospital, and birth center; medicated and unmedicated births; VBAC and cesarean; multiples, IVF, surrogacy, and infant loss. You will also learn nurturing, intuitive massage techniques designed to support laboring bodies while honoring your own—always within scope and rooted in integrity.

Your Guide

This immersion is led by Latissa Marie Graham, founder of Healing Power of Touch—a woman who has devoted her life to the art of birth and healing.

Latissa brings:

12 years of lived experience as a doula

350+ births attended

18 years as a Licensed Massage Therapist

Certification in the HypnoActive Birth Method

Certification as a Prenatal, Labor, Postpartum, and Infant Massage Instructor

Personal experience in medicated birth, pregnancy loss, rainbow baby, vbac, twice over, another pregnancy loss to twins, finishing with a successful rainbow baby, yet highly medicated vbac due to complications. Dealing with Hyperemesis Gravidarum, among mamy other complications, including severe postpartum depression, it has all given her life experience and She's able to connect with her clients on a deeper level.

She is one of Utah’s longest-practicing doulas and is deeply respected for her grounded presence, intuitive wisdom, and ability to hold space with both strength and tenderness.

Certification

Those who complete the prerequisite coursework, attend all three days, and pass the final assessment will receive Certification in the Healing Power of Touch Massage Doula Method by the final day of class.

This certification reflects not only skill—but embodiment, ethics, and heart-centered care.

Birth Massage for the Professional Doula

(Previously offered as a separate course)

Your body is one of your most important tools.

In this portion of the training, Latissa teaches you how to offer powerful physical support—without sacrificing your own wellbeing. You’ll learn refined body mechanics and alignment that protect you during long births and prevent chronic pain, injury, and burnout.

You will also be guided through:

Self-massage and restorative techniques

Tools for recovery, grounding, and longevity in your work

This is care for the caregiver—because your body deserves the same devotion you offer others.
