It started with a dream to heal my mother. She suffered throughout my childhood with debilitating pain caused by fibromyalgia, osteoarthritis and other autoimmune disorders. This caused a constant fight with depression and robbed her of the ability to live her life to the fullest and be the mother she wanted to be. I watched her suffer, and desperately wished I could bring her some relief. When I decided to become a massage therapist, we were asked what our “why” was, and I wrote about my mother, and a desire to help others who also suffer like her, to find relief and to be free to live the life they deserve. 

The name Healing Power of Touch came to me at that time, when I realized that the right touch can be the ultimate healer, more powerful than any drug. It can be the difference between life and death. When I started practicing massage, I was able to "fix" my client’s pain. And it was truly amazing. I was actually able to see the results, and I couldn't believe that I had ever lived without massage therapy in my life. I kept thinking, "Why don't more people know about this?" And I knew I was on a mission. A mission to bring the Healing Power of Touch to everyone, because EVERYONE needs it!

Deciding to share my technique and knowledge gained from the 13 years of running a successful, sustained private practice was a BIG moment for me! My availability was booked 3+ months out and I couldn’t help everyone that needed me. I had reached a ceiling. I knew that my focus had to change! If I could share my technique, other awesome therapists could help so many more people! And part of training other therapists brought me to the idea of creating a larger practice of my own, with multiple therapists, all skilled and capable of bringing the Healing Power of Touch to more people. 

I’ve built a practice that is based in injury work and is an advanced method of massage that incorporates deep tissue modalities.  My technique has an emphasis on healing through detailed, consistent work to achieve health and wellness.  This powerful therapeutic massage method that empowers all therapists to become true healers.
